Good news for Nike Air Griffey Max 1 fans, Ken Griffey Jr.’s classic silhouette will return in its Sprite-like colorway for the shoe’s 20th anniversary.

Following the release of the “Freshwater” colorway, Nike Sportswear will be re-releasing a few original colorways, as well as some new ones.

This release sports a Varsity Royal, White, Volt and Black color scheme in a true Sprite-like theme that was originally debuted back in 2009.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Varsity Royal Volt Release Date

Look for the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Varsity Royal” to debut on May 24th, 2016 at select Nike Sportswear retail stores. The retail price tag is set at $150 USD.
