What the NBA did about thirty years ago may have been the best thing ever for Nike – still to this date.

As the story goes, when Nike officially unveiled the Air Jordan 1 in its Chicago Bulls colors that’s now known as “Bred,” the NBA banned them as they stated it was the colors of the devil. The result was a little fine and now the rest his history.
