German retailer The Good Will Out is now hooking up with ASICS to drop a special edition of the Gel Lyte V, dubbed “Koyo.” This collaboration pays homage to the colorful leaves (koyo) are to the Japanese autumn what cherry blossoms are to spring. The viewing of autumn leaves has been a popular activity in Japan for centuries.
The shoe is built with premium nubuck leather dressed in a Deep Burgundy with perforations detailing. The ASICS branding is dressed in Yellow and Grey sitting atop a White midsole with Grey color near the rear and the outsole includes hints of Yellow, Red and Grey. To finish off the design, the shoe features a leaf printed sockliner.
The The Good Will Out x ASICS Gel Lyte V “Koyo” is set to release at the The Good Will Out in Cologne Germany on October 18th, followed by a general release worldwide on October 25th. The collaboration will be sold in a limited edition package that comes with three pairs of extra laces.
