This Don C x Air Jordan 1 “BHM” collaboration was first produced in 2013 in celebration to the 37th Anniversary of Black History Month. The release was auctioned off on eBay in a total of 37 pairs to go along with the 37th Anniversary.
In February 2015, an alternate, Don C x Air Jordan 1 “BHM” was auctioned off to celebrate the 39th Anniversary of Black History Month in a White leather base color scheme. Other features to the shoe include a tonal Black History Month inspired pattern, with snakeskin straps and Nike Swooshes, finished with Black leather interior sitting atop a White translucent outsole.
All proceeds for the Don C x Air Jordan 1 “BHM” went to a good cause going towards the Ever Higher Foundation.
The shoe can now only be found from resellers like this one who is selling them for $10,000 on eBay that comes with a matching hat.
