Sneaker boutique Concepts is hooking up with New Balance to release a special edition “City Rivalry” Pack that’s inspired by the battle between New York City and Boston.
The pack takes on the Yankees and Red Sox rivalry by releasing a pair of New Balance shoes for each team. The New York pair is represented by the New Balance 997 that features a Light Green and Silver color scheme as a nod to the Statue of Liberty. The Boston one is a New Balance 998 that is dressed in a Mint and Brown color scheme.
Check out the preview images of the Concepts New Balance City Rivalry Pack below, that comes with special designed insoles. There is an event taking place at the W Hotel in Boston for the shoes’ launch on April 8th, followed by a wider release the next day, April 9th.
