The Air Jordan 7 Retro J2K Pack released on August 4th, 2012, and retailed each for $175 USD. This pack included two Air Jordan 7 colorways dressed in an Obsidian, Natural, Filbert, and White makeup and the other in a Filbert, Natural, Obsidian, and White color scheme.
This releases had a connection to Nike’s “Trash Talk” program, which focuses on recycle scrap material found on the cutting room floor, essentially manufacturing 100% wearable sneakers while minimizing waste. You’ll notice both Air Jordan 7 colorways are comprised of a triangular patchwork of materials to go along with Nike’s “Trash Talk” releases at the time.
When this Air Jordan 7 Retro J2K Pack debuted it wasn’t a fan favorite due to its unique design and unfavorable use of a color scheme. But now that Jordan Brand is celebrating their 23rd Anniversary of the iconic Air Jordan 7 silhouette, maybe this Pack would be more well received than before.
