Jordan Brand is celebrating their 23rd anniversary of the Air Jordan 6 silhouette. With that being said, what better time to bring back the Air Jordan 6 “Doernbecher” colorway.
The Air Jordan 6 “Doernbecher” was designed by 12 year-old Jordan Dark, who’s health issue was Ewing’s Sarcoma. Featuring a Dark Navy Blue upper with some interesting accents that includes the embossed “06-08” on the side panels inspired by when he finished his treatment. The large number 1 on the back heel represents being first in class and having the highest G.P.A. The words “What Time Is It?” and “Game Time!” are embroidered on the inside of each tongues.
So now after breaking this special edition Air Jordan 6 down a little bit, do you think it’s time for Jordan Brand to bring these back? Let us know in the comments and for those that may want these now just hit up marcieandlouise on eBay.
