As a tribute to Spike Lee’s lates film Chi-Raq, Van Monroe from Cleveland designed a special edition Air Jordan 4 “Chi-Raq” Custom for the two-time Academy Award-nominated director.

Using the remastered Air Jordan 4 “Oreo” as the base, Monroe utilized the artwork from the film’s movie poster and displayed it on the shoes toe box and heel counter. Other details to go along with the film include its color scheme. Lastly, he even designed a customized box displaying the main character of the movie, Lysistrata, played by actress Teyonah Parris.
