The Air Jordan 12 Retro “Obsidian” was originally released in February of 1997, and later re-released on June 23rd, 2012, retailed for $160 USD.
Back in 2012, it was the first time Jordan Brand retroed the Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” colorway. The shoe was dressed in an Obsidian, White, French Blue, and University Blue color scheme. Featuring an Obsidian Blue and White leather covering the majority of the upper, with hints of French Blue on the inner liner, branding and tongue, finished with Chrome upper eyelets.
How many of you were able to scoop the “Obsidian” Air Jordan 12 up back in 2012, or how many of you still have your OG pair laying around? This colorway is a fan favorite of the Air Jordan 12 silhouette and now that its been a few years since they debuted, should Jordan Brand start considering bringing these back sometime in the future other than 2020?
