Today adidas Running officially unveiled the adidas Ultra Boost X. A new version of the popular adidas Ultra Boost runner exclusively for women.
It’ll come available in both women’s and adidas by Stella McCartney styles, that’s constructed with a new interpretation of its ground-breaking predecessor and the brand’s pinnacle performance shoe, tailored to adapt to the unique shape of the female foot.
Featuring a free-floating arch and slimmer heel counter, the Ultra Boost X delivers more stability than ever before, enabling extra support and freedom of movement during a run. The openness of the toe area enables increased breathability, while the full length Boost midsole in the cushioned heel enables thousands of energy-infused Boost foam capsules to maximize energy return with every stride. The shoe’s innovative lacing system supports quick-fire movements and the STRETCHWEB outsole was specifically designed for the female gait to provide complete traction.
Look for the adidas Ultra Boost X to release in three colors, Orange Glow, Grey and Black on February 8th at adidas.com and select adidas stores. A wider release will be available at the end of the month through select retailers. The retail price tag is set at $180 USD.
UPDATE: The adidas WMNS Ultra Boost X will be debuting in “Glow Orange”, “Core Black” and “Clear Grey” colorways tomorrow, February 22nd for $180 USD. Additional images via: Deadstock.ca.
