Honoring the otherworldly talents and accomplishments of one of its marquee pro riders, adidas Skateboarding and Mark Suciu proudly release the Suciu ADV – the brand’s first signature shoe designed from top to bottom by pro Mark Suciu.

Inspired by the 23-year-old’s passion for history and academia coupled with his refined, detail-oriented approach to street skating, the Suciu ADV’s timeless silhouette reflects an informed worldview both on-and-off the board. With a deep appreciation for the iconic skate spots of the East Coast like Philadelphia’s LOVE Park, DC’s Pulaski Park and New York’s Flushing Meadows, Suciu takes a historical perspective on the locations he skates—discovering the history behind them, exploring their significance to the American story and revolutionizing their use as modern public spaces through skateboarding.

Capturing the refreshing depth and diversity of Suciu, the Suciu ADV juxtaposes old world design details with performance-driven innovation. The signature adidas trefoil, Suciu logo treatment and flared pattern of the shoe’s heel design were inspired by his fascination and interest in Gothic architecture. Built to the specs of his technical, yet effortless skating, the Suciu ADV features lightweight cupsole support and an ADIPRENE® mid-sole drop-in piece targeted at long-lasting support and superior control. An internal bootie provides a super-responsive fit while an asymmetrical collar provides allover ankle support.

The adidas Suciu ADV is offered in four colorways of Collegiate Navy/Collegiate Burgundy, Collegiate Burgundy/White/Gold Metallic, Black/White/Gold Metallic, and Mesa/White and is available at adidas.com and select retailers worldwide beginning July 31, 2015.
