Michigan Sneaker XChange (MSXC) 2014

Published on

“Michigan Sneaker XChange (MSXC) was founded in early 2013 by Jake Schreier. He then asked Max Schreier, Adam Shapiro, Seth Blazofsky, and Karan Desai to join in. Prior to MSXC, the only other event in Michigan was a small-scale sneaker swap in downtown Detroit, which ended in Summer of 2012. So, these 5 sneaker heads took the chance of hosting their own event on May 4th, 2013 at Modern Skate Park. It ended up a huge success, with over 400 people. The second event took place at the same venue on July 20th, 2013, with over 500 people. Recently, on February 8th, 2014, MSXC went back to Modern Skate Park for one more event before upgrading to a bigger venue. With over 700 people and 60 tables as well as 25 people on a wait list for tables, this was MSXC’s most successful event. After the second event, MSXC added a new member, Juan Neal, to help in bringing Michigan sneaker heads the best event possible.

MSXC will be traveling from state-to-state advertising the event at different shows. Tables are $50 a piece and come with one free admission. With vendors from multiple states and lots of raffles, you guys won’t want to be left out (One raffle includes DS Kobe Prelude 5s for $5- Many more raffles to come). Feel free to email [email protected] for a table (Dimensions are 8′ x 3′). Admission is just $10 and can be purchased at Pogo Skate Shop in Birmingham, MI in advance. Buying admission in advance will come with a free raffle ticket at the door as well (Raffle ticket is now valid for Kobe Prelude 5 raffle).”
